At the Park Royal Cozumel, there's something for everyone -- including young guests. A Kids' Club offers daytime activities for children ages 5-12. All activities for children 5 to 12 years old are supervised, so the parents can relax and have fun while the little ones are entertained.

Cozumel Island
This island in the Mexican Caribbean is where lavish cruise ships come to enjoy paradise. Eating in Cozumel
As the Yucatan cuisine has contributed to the local cuisine, Cozumel offers regional dishes like Cochinita Pibil (marinated pork stew), Papadzules (tortillas stuffed with hard-boiled eggs and topped with pumpkin seed sauce,) and Chocolomo (seasoned beef dish). It is also highly recommended to taste dishes based on seafood.
As a suggestion, a good place to eat fish "al mojo de ajo" (cooked with garlic) is at La Choza. At the market you can find small restaurants with delicious dishes at low prices. If you like world recognized restaurants, at Hard Rock Cafe you can savor nachos, chicken wings and hamburgers.

Mexican cooking utensils
The molinillo (the rattle-shaped tool used to whip hot chocolate) or packets of achiote paste (an earthy Yucatecan spice) are simple, inexpensive utensils you can find at Mercado Municipal.
Coral jewelry
Coral jewelry is an island specialty. Visitors can find well-designed pieces at Joyeria Palancar, which takes its name from the reef off the southwest coast of the island.
Guayaberas
The comfortable embroidered tropical shirts favored by men in the Yucatan, are made from linen or cotton, but many are easy-care polyester.
Hammmocks
The best hammocks made of cotton and with a fine mesh are found in crafts stores and small hole-in-the-wall hammock shops in the shopping district.
