The first vacation of the year is coming and there is no better way to start it than with the family, celebrating with the little ones one of the most joyful and expected days of the year! Of course, we are talking about Children's Day which, in countries such as North Korea, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Ecuador, is celebrated on June 1st.
In Mexico, Children's Day is celebrated every April 30th and in different parts of the country there are cultural and entertainment activities to promote the welfare and rights of Mexican children. Although the celebration was established on May 8th, 1916, in Tantoyuca, Veracruz, this day still brings joy to the little ones.
The General Law on the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents (published on December 4th, 2014), acknowledges them as holders of their rights, in its Article 13th, it states that they have the right to relax, to leisure, and play, as well as to freely participate in cultural, sports and artistic activities, as fundamental elements of their development and growth.
Although the celebration of Children's Day is most celebrated in elementary schools, in recent years it has spread across the country and of course, it has reached Park Royal Hotels & Resorts, activities and amenities like:
