A colorful party: Carnival awaits you!

In the state of Quintana Roo you can enjoy two great carnivals: Cozumel and Isla Mujeres. In both, tradition combines the beauty of the Mexican Caribbean with music and dance, which end up flooding the air of these magical destinations with color.
This year the Cozumel carnival turns 150 years old, so the small city in southeastern Mexico is preparing to celebrate in a big way. 10 minutes from the center of the island, on Rafael E. Melgar’s Avenue (where the float parade will take place), Grand Park Royal Cozumel is located, which makes our resort an ideal option for you to experience this party, considered one of the most important in the country.
The first activities of this edition of the carnival started the last week of January, with the beginning of voting for the kings of the carnival, of diversity, for the youth sovereigns and for the children's monarchs. Starting on February 8th, the parades, musical presentations and concerts will begin and will end on the 14th, with the classic burning of “Juan Carnaval”.
A “Tropical Fantasy” awaits you at the next Isla Mujeres carnival, which will take place from February 9th to 13th on this small island, located north of the city of Cancun. In this edition, salsa and other Caribbean rhythms will make all attendees dance.

This festivity, which will feature the presence of the famous DJ Steve Aoki and the reggaeton singer Nicky Jam, will occur between January 27th and February 13th. The Mérida Carnival will be developed under the motto “Re-Evolution, from Fantasy to Innovation”, as it seeks to demonstrate that the city is in constant change, like humanity itself.
The Mazatlán International Carnival, 2024, called “Baroque Eclipse” will take place from February 8th to 13th. It will feature artistic expressions as diverse as plastic dances and regional Mexican singers or rock bands and baroque music.
The “Teodoro Mariscal” baseball stadium will be the scene of the coronation of the various monarchs of this carnival. The best of all?
