An avant-garde Cafe

 

Thierry Blouet is a Puerto Rican chef, member of the Culinary Academy of France, specialized in French haute cuisine, and founder of one of the most famous and recognized restaurants in Puerto Vallarta: Café des Artistes, a luxury restaurant the opened its doors almost 30 years ago and since then, is a synonym of elegance and exclusivity.

 

The success of this restaurant is the optimal relationship between excellent customer service and the high quality of the food. The concept, of course, is French cuisine, but with Mexican inspiration.

The enclosure has three general sections, that combine exuberant vegetation, romantic lighting, Huichol art, and elegance in its different semi-private rooms.

 

Don't miss the “Drop Hall” an elegant space inside the restaurant adorned by hundreds of cut glass drops that hang from the ceiling.

A special creature from the galaxy

 

In 1987, a visionary film director named John McTiernan, with his entire team of producers and actors, found in Puerto Vallarta the perfect place to make one of the most expected films of the year with the ex-governor of California and action cinema star, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Of course, we are talking about Predator, the movie.

 

The chosen place by McTiernan was none other than El Edén de Mismaloya, an exotic national park located 180 meters above sea level in the Sierra Cuale.

 

El Edén is famous, among other things, for its beautiful natural pools, stone slides, zip-line circuit, and extreme motorized sports that you can do nearby, as well as hiking. And if that were not enough, you can also find a suspension bridge, restaurant, and natural spa to spend a day surrounded by nature.
